Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken, turkey, or lean beef
  • McCormick BBQ Seasoning  or Maplewood Seasoning
  • Garlic Salt
  • Dried cilantro
  • Onion salt
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sugar Free BBQ Sauce or Walden Farms BBQ Sauce

Toppings (Optional)

  • Fresh Topped Cilantro
  • Fresh topped green onion

Tools

  • Large Baking Dish or crockpot or pressure cooker
  • Foil or crockpot liner (optional)
  • Spoon
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

Oven Method 

Prepare baking dish by lining with spraying with cooking spray and spreading a light layer of BBQ sauce across the bottom.  Open  package of Ground meat and leave in cube. Season generously with all dry ingredients.  Flip over and season generously again.  With a table spoon scoop out a piece and roll into a tight ball. Place in baking pan, roll around in sauce to coat. Continue to fill to bottom of the pan. Spread more BBQ sauce on top of  the meat balls and carefully stack clock wise from the out side to the center. (only two layers). Bake at 375º for 15-20mins.

Crockpot Method

Line crock pot with liner for easy clean up. Repeat baking process. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 2-4 hours.

Pressure Cooker Method 

Cook for 5 mins high pressure
