The annual L8R Holiday Party was last night and one of the dishes featured was this awesome Sugar Free Teriyaki Chicken! All that tried it loved it! This is something you can prepare every week as a lean protein source for any of your meals!
SUGAR FREE TERIYAKI (CHICKEN, FISH, OR BEEF)
Dry Ingredients:
Ground Ginger
Onion Salt
Garlic Salt and or minced Garlic
Sweetener
McCormick Asian Seasoning
Salt
Black Pepper
Marinade:
Walden Farms Sesame Ginger Dressing
Seal Sama Teriyaki Sauce
Liquid Aminos
Tools:
Large gallon or two gallon zip lock
Foil or parchment paper
Baking sheet
Baking dish or Crockpot
Cooking spray
Directions:
Place foil or parchment paper on a baking sheet lay meat in one layer out on the pan. Season generously with all dry ingredients. Stir carefully. Roll foil (or paper) into a tube around meat like a burrito. Dump seasoned meat into large zip lock bag. Pour equal amount of sauce into the bag. Seal tightly, squeezing as much air out as you can. Mix the meat around, making sure all the is coated. Lay flat in fridge and marinade for a minimum of 30-45min. Flip half way through.
Baking:
Spray large baking dish with cooking spray bake at 375o for 10 minutes stir or flip, cook for an additional 10 minutes (or until desired doneness)
Note: Beef will take half the time
Crockpot:
Spray pot with cooking spray. Cook for 8-10 hours.
Top with fresh chopped cilantro and chopped green onion.
