1. What were your goals when you came to L8R Lifestyle?
I had hit a plateau with my fitness journey and was really frustrated. I am naturally very tall and thin, and it is hard for me to put on muscle. I’d been working on my own for a long time and just wasn’t getting the results that I wanted. It seemed like no matter what I did, or where I set my macros, I was having trouble putting on the muscle mass that I wanted. When I signed up with L8R Lifestyle, I wanted to cut down body fat, then start packing on muscle the right way, with minimal fat gain. I wanted someone who could take an objective look at what I was doing and make the necessary adjustments to help me improve my body composition and reach my goals.

  2. What has this journey meant to you? How has it impacted you?
Having the added accountability of weekly check-ins with a coach who knows me and my goals has forced me to push myself outside of my comfort zone. In addition to pushing myself harder than I ever have before, I have learned so much about my body and what I need. When it comes to fitness, there is truly not a one-size-fits-all solution. Having coaches in my corner who have truly taken the effort to get to know me and figure out what is best for my body has been a complete game-changer. I am constantly seeing changes I had begun to think were impossible, and it’s shown me that with hard work and a great coach, pretty much anyone can achieve their physique/fitness goals.

  3. What do you look forward to achieving now? What are your new goals? (if they’ve changed)
I haven’t gotten to the point where we get to start packing on muscle, but I am WAY excited for that part of my journey. I’m also looking forward to eventually stepping on stage. At the end of the day, though, my goals are pretty much the same as they were when I first started.

  4. Any extra thoughts?
Every day I’m just super happy that I have Mikka on my side! She has been amazing to work with and I know that, as long as I’m willing to put in the work, we can do some big things.
