Ingredients
Fish Base
- 1.25 lb tilapia fillets
- 1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp pepper (or to taste)
Topping
- Approx 1 cup fresh marinara
- 1/2 cup plain fat-free Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup grated fat-free mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp onion salt
- 1/2 tbs @Feastmode Italian fusion
Garnish
- Chopped fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray baking dish with cooking spray.
- Pour marinara on he bottom of the pan.
- Place fish fillets in baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
- Mix the rest of the ingredients for the topping together in a small bowl.
- Spread mixture over fish and bake for 15 minutes, then broil for 2-3 minutes, or until fish is white and flakey on the inside and lightly browned on top.
- Sprinkle with fresh basil and enjoy.
- Fresh marinara: preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking dish with foil and spray with cooking spray. Chop tomatoes, fresh basil, Italian seasoning, fresh oregano, garlic salt, onion salt, sweetener, salt and pepper. Add everything to a large bowl and mix well. Pour into baking dish. Bake for about 30 minutes or until bubbly and hot. Let cool. Carefully fold cooked veggies into foil and pour into blender or food processor. Blend until desired texture is reached.
Tips & Variations
- Swap tilapia with cod or halibut for variety.
- Pair with Healthy Green Bean Casserole or High-Protein Spinach Salad.
- Add spice with chili flakes or jalapeños.
