Baked Onion Rings

Ingredients:
1 large sweet onion, sliced into 1/2″ slices
3 oz egg whites
2 bags Quest Protein Chips, crushed
2 cups unsweetened almond milk
2 TBSP parmesan cheese (optional)
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:
6-24 HOURS BEFORE:
Mix almond milk with sea salt and pepper,
Place sliced onions into an airtight container with almond milk mixture for minimum of 6 hours to 24 hours.

DAY OF:
Preheat oven to 450 or turn on air air fryer to 390.
Place egg whites in one bowl, and Quest Chips mixed with parmesan cheese in another.
Dip onion rings into the egg mixture and coat well one at a time.
Then dip the rings into the chip mixture and coat each ring thoroughly.
Place coated rings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes or until onion rings are browned and crispy (or place in air fryer for 10 minutes).
