Sugar-Free Toasted Almonds

Ingredients:
2 cups nuts
2 egg whites
1/2 cup Truvia or Splenda 
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 300°
In mixer, with whisk attachment, whisk egg whites until stiff peaks form. gradually stir in sweetener, vanilla, and cinnamon. Fold in nuts til evenly coated.
Spread evenly on a parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for 40-60 min, stirring every 20 minutes until toasted and crispy.
Store in an air tight container.

Variations:
-Add in a pinch or cayenne for a spicy kick
-Substitute one egg white for a tbs of sugar free maple syrup or agave.
-Add in a pinch of pumpkin pie spice
