Lean Chicken Burgers
2 lbs ground chicken breasts (or lean beef or turkey)
1oz egg whites
1/2 small onion diced
1 garlic clove
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp onion salt
1/2 cup crushed quest chips
Ground black pepper, to taste
Add ground chicken to a large mixing bowl.
Again in a blender, add egg whites, onion and garlic, chips, salt and pepper. Process until well combined and add to the bowl with chicken meat. Using your hands, mix well.
Form into balls somewhere between golf and tennis size and flatten into patties.
Grill or pan fry for about 4-5 minutes per side. It is time to flip when white edges appear and patty is brown on the bottom. Top with burger toppings of your choice. Serve hot or cold, with fresh salad and/or baked sweet potato fries.
